christmas shopping

After a number of enquiries from people looking for about pouches and cowls for Christmas presents, I thought I better note down a few dates for your diaries…

I’ll be doing two shop updates, one in the first week of December and the second midway through the month before I head home to Australia for Christmas- as always, I’ll announce those 24 hours beforehand both here and on Instagram and Twitter, so, if you don’t follow me already, I’d recommend doing so!

I’m really happy to be part of a fantastic event happening at Glasgow’s Queen of Purls on November 28th- in conjunction with the Big Issue, Zoe is collecting hats, scarves and squares for blankets (either pre made or knitted on the day!) which will then be passed onto vendors of the magazine, keeping them #warmandworking during the coming winter months. There’ll be minced pies and mulled wine available for a donation, plus a raffle, as well as a bunch of my favourite woolly women from this part of Scotland selling their wares: Jess of Ginger Twist, Leona of fluph, Amanda of OwlPrintPanda  and me, plus the all-knowing-about-British-yarn Louise of Knit British with her breed swatches! Come along and spend some time with us and the community…

And I’m delighted to be appearing alongside some of Scotland’s most interesting in dependent makers at the Tea Green Christmas Markets in Glasgow in early December- I’ll be at the Lighthouse market on Sunday December 6 and the Kibble Palace on Saturday December 12.

Do come and say hello if you make it along!
