Make Kelly Ordemann's Adiantum from Pompom Quarterly: Issue No 27 / Botanical...
With plant-dyed yarn and patterning inspired by maidenhair ferns, this is a beautiful, modern take on the yoked jumper. Adiantum is worked in the round from the bottom up in crisp, woolly Masgot Fine.
The kit includes:
5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins of Woollenflower Masgot Fine (100% wool from French sheep breeds- Bizet, Blanche du Massif Central and Noire du Velay; 200m/ 50gm) in Tuffeau, a oatmeal-cinnamon blend of undyed coloured fleeces
1 skein of Woollenflower Masgot Fine, dyed with buckthorn and indigo.
Because of the nature of dyeing with natural materials, shades may vary slightly from kit to kit.
The pattern for Adiantum can be found in the Botanical issue of Pompom Quarterly, released in February 2019. Print copies of this publication can be found at local yarn shops and digital copies at Pompom and Ravelry.
