Quincythia Shawl Kit

Knitted in beautiful airy, naturally-dyed yarn, Quincythia is a light but cosy shawl, perfect for the changing seasons. Named after the spring plants whose flower colour matches the yarn in the original colourway (quince and forsythia), the shawl is mainly knitted in soothing garter stitch, with columns of slipped stitches and a ‘double-pass’ section to keep the knitter’s interest piqued.

This kit includes:

1 x Woollenflower Whorl (72% kid mohair/ 28% silk, 210m/ 50gm), dyed with cochineal + madder (quince/ forsythia) or with cutch (bracken/ forget-me-not)

1 x Woollenflower Shetland 1 (100% organic Shetland wool; 350m / 437 yds per 50g), dyed with birch leaves (quince/ forsythia) or with indigo (bracken/ forget-me-not)

The kit does not include a copy of the Quincythia pattern- you can purchase it directly from the designer, Maddie Harvey, on Ravelry or Payhip.
