These pouches are made from fabrics salvaged from dressmaking, as well as small pieces of plant-dyed linen, worn-out garments and remnants of wool suiting.
All proceeds (minus shipping and processing costs) will be donated to the Seed Indigenous Youth Climate Network and the Goongerah Environment Centre, two organisations working to protect Australian bushland against the threat and damage from climate change and bushfires.
These particular pouches are made from a heavy printed linen/ cotton with a chambray linen base, lined with wool suiting and closed with a sturdy woven cotton drawstring. Each is slightly different in its combination of fabrics.
