Spring Tendril Set
As winter gives way to spring, daffodils burst forth from the shadows and the dark earth, bringing us joyous and long-anticipated colour!
The beautiful coral-pink centres and warm white petals of Narcissus 'Precocious' inspired this set of 5 mini skeins for the Spring Yorkshire Yarnfest on Saturday February 27.
Dyed with traditional dye plants madder, indigo, goldenrod and old man's beard on Tendril, a fingering-weight blend of alpaca, silk and cashmere, this 100gm set would be beautiful paired with a neutral for spring shawls and garments.
Incredibly soft and drapey, this fingering-weight blend of 70% alpaca, 20% silk and 10% cashmere makes for perfect warm accessories or fine garments. It is particularly suited to lace as the drape and sheen of alpaca and silk hold and display open stitches beautifully.
