Wool threads

Conceived as a way to exhaust the very last bit of colour from large dyebaths and to play with colour, these small balls of plant-dyed wool threads are full of joy. They are suitable for embroidery, mending and other stitching (working particularly well on woven and knitted wool, linen and cotton) and for fine knitting, crochet and weaving (weft only). 

Dyed with care and using time-honoured methods and dyestuffs, these threads offer rich and long-lasting colour.

Fibre: Appleton’s crewel wool, 2-ply; 100% wool grown and processed in Britain and hand-dyed in Glasgow.
